Katherine Swann is the founder and lead Dietitian at Gut Instincts, LLC. She is certified by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and is licensed to practice in the state of South Carolina. Katherine has pursued additional Health Coach accreditations from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and the Autoimmune Wellness programs. She continues to expand her expertise by participating in specialized certificates of training in Functional Integrative Nutrition as well as for Inflammatory Bowel Disease. As a licensed dietitian, Katherine is committing her practice and research focus to providing medical nutrition therapy to individuals and families with autoimmune diseases as well as gut-skin and gut-brain disturbances. In addition to these specialties, she has also assisted a wide range of clients in chronic disease management, nutrition for athletic performance, pre- and postnatal nutrition, weight management, and improving lifestyle strategies for overall wellness.
As an ongoing member of community nutrition initiatives, she has collaborated with organizations such Bounty and Soul, ASAP Connections, Livewell Greenville, Clemson SNAP-Ed and led nutrition education and cooking classes.
